1. How many capsules come in a box?
Each box contains 30 capsules. One capsule should be taken daily, or as prescribed by your physician.
2. Why is Restora not enteric coated?
The enteric coating will deplete the shelf life and the survival of the bacteria.
3. Why doesn't Restora require refrigeration like many other probiotics?
The processing associated with Restora has been improved. The Omega 3 fish oil protects the bacteria, this means that refrigeration is not required.
4. Can Restora be taken during pregnancy or breast feeding?
Not only would this be safe, but it could be a benefit to take during pregnancy and breast feeding, if your doctor approves.
5. Is Restora safe for Diabetics?
Taking Restora could be beneficial for diabetics, as it might help with digestion.
6. I'm concerned because I'm lactose intolerant; would this formula contain the antigen B found in any lactose product?
No, it is lactose free.
7. Should Restora be taken with food and water?
We recommend taking your probiotics just prior to or with food, as this is how you would have introduced beneficial bacteria naturally.
8. Can Restora be taken while on blood thinners?
Generally, it is not recommended to take probiotics while on blood thinners, unless told otherwise by your health care provider. Too much Omega-3 fatty acids may have potential antithrombic effects. But it would be best to consult your physician if you are taking blood thinners.
9. Can I take Restora while I am on medication?
Yes, it is safe to take probiotics while on the medications mentioned. However, please consult your physician.
10. Is Restora gluten free?
YES, Restora is gluten free.
11. Is Restora dairy/casein/whey free?
Restora is dairy-free, so there would not be any casein or whey in the product.
12. Does Restora contain starch or potato?
Potato or starch are not used in Restora, but it is not made in a potato/starch free facility.
13. Does Restora contain wheat, pork, peanuts or maple?
